30 Little Things: The Book of GenesisSýnishorn
Equal Unconditional Love.
We are all children of God, right? We are all equally standing in the same position, we are all His children and in God's point of view, none is greater or less than the other. We know this, we acknowledge this, but how often do we actually let the realization sink in and simply give thanks for this? We are equal in God's eyes. There are billions of people all over the world who are His children and yet He loves each and everyone of them the same way. He loves me, you, your parents, siblings, friends and even your enemies with the same amount of unconditional love. Joseph's brothers in Genesis experienced hatred over Joseph because Jacob loved Joseph more than them, but we don't. We, brothers and sisters in Christ, we don't have to feel envious or jealous of others' success because whatever happens, God loves us all the same.
Do we often look at other people and think, 'Why do God love them more than me?', or perhaps think, 'Why bad things always happen to me?'? Well, get rid of these thoughts and be grateful. Give thanks because no matter what our circumstances are, how we look or where we live, God loves us unconditionally, equally.
