30 Little Things: The Book of Genesis

DAY 21 OF 30

Life's Complications.

Life comes with complications. We don't live in a world where there are no problems, no errors and everything is perfection. On the contrary, the world we live in is fallen. So, no matter what we do or how hard we try, we will always be facing complications. There will be times when we feel like we are frustrated and we don't know what to do. The problems we are facing seem to big and we don't know how we are going to get through. However, the good news is that God doesn't leave us on our own. Jacob once said in Genesis 35 that God answered his prayers when he was in distress and God was with him wherever he had gone. Jacob ran to God in times when he had to face problems and trials in life. It is true that life is messy somehow, but who do we look for when the mess gets in the way? Do we rely on our strengths or do we simply run to God?

He answers our prayers. In good times or bad times, He answers our prayers. It is only through God that we will be able to see that even though life can get messy, it is actually a beautiful mess.
