• JESUS’ coming into this world to fulfill the laws of the OLD COVENANT, which were given through Moses.

• The OLD COVENANT had temporary and worldly promises.

• The NEW COVENANT, brought by JESUS, is focused on man’s eternal soul. The promises made to the restored man are timeless, eternal, and connected to a place in heaven, where man will live in GOD’s presence.

• JESUS opened the way to a personal relationship with GOD who, in the person of the HOLY SPIRIT, comes to live in us, guiding us to a life of victory over the world and over sin.

• In the NEW COVENANT, JESUS is the Great Priest – the only Mediator between GOD and man. He is one of us, a man like us, but devoid of sin. Having lived in our world as one of us, He understands us perfectly and He is ready to intervene in our life in any moment of crisis or need!

In the NEW COVENANT, JESUS – the Great Priest – has His place on the right side of GOD. He gave Himself as an offering for the entire mankind, unlike the OLD COVENANT when animals were repeatedly brought as sacrifices. The covenant made with GOD through Moses was but a shadow of the reality in the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. The NEW COVENANT has laws, which were presented and lived by JESUS throughout His life on earth. In order to live in the KINGDOM OF GOD, it is important to know the rules and laws of the KINGDOM, as they are conveyed in the New Testament by JESUS’ contemporaries. These teachings must be lived exactly as we find them in the pages of the NEW TESTAMENT, in the four gospels written by those who lived at the same times as JESUS, including eyewitnesses. No one can get to the KINGDOM OF HEAVENS without knowing and living the WORD of the BIBLE.
Victory is ensured by the One Who paid the price for our salvation. In the following days, we will take a look at the way He lived, trying to understand the way we should live to get to where JESUS is, the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN – the only place where eternal happiness can be found.
