Take Encouragement BackSýnishorn
Get to Work!
2 Chronicles 19:11 TLV
“Behold, Amariah the chief kohen will be over you in all matters pertaining to Adonai, and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the House of Judah, in all the matters pertaining to the king. Also, the Levites will serve as officials before you. Act courageously and may Adonai be with the good.”
One of King Jehoshaphat's reforms was to establish order in serving the Lord, and it is essential to organize our lives to recover from discouragement. Here, he is reforming the attitude of the priests. To have courage, we must have integrity.
How is your spirit for serving the Lord? How is your spirit for taking on new challenges and opportunities?
The time has come for you to take on the challenge, just as Elijah emerged from the cave to confront his forgotten commission, or like Joshua who took on the challenge of leading a people to conquer. Whatever your situation, the Lord is with you! I hope this devotional marks the beginning of reclaiming what you have left behind.
One of the doubts that haunt us when breaking a harmful cycle is: "Do I still have a chance?" "Have I already ruined it; is there still hope?" Of course, there is! One of Jesus' missions was that He did not come to snuff out the smoldering wick or break the bruised reed but to ignite and renew us. So, there is an opportunity to start again!
Be encouraged in Christ! Start anew, return to your commission, return to the Lord. Jesus is calling you!
A fraternal hug in the Lord,

About this Plan
Encouragement provides the strength and energy to take action, make decisions, or face challenges. However, life's difficulties can wear down that encouragement. When discouragement sets in, it can negatively affect us, starting as a feeling or thought and potentially deepening into something more spiritual. Today, through the lens of Scripture, we will learn how to overcome it.
