21-Day Fast & Prayer Into & Through Your Next SeasonSýnishorn
In this journey of faith, we're in the ring, fighting for what rightfully belongs to us. Whether it's our joy, peace, purpose, family, or possessions, we don't have to go at it alone. We've got some powerful help on our side!
In Ezra's book, when people offered to help him, he turned them down because he knew they had ulterior motives and instead relied on God, fasting and prayer for protection. Smart move, right?
But here's the incredible part: We have even more than that! In God's word, Jesus himself promised to give us a helper. How awesome is that?
Basically, Jesus gave us a gift and it saddens me to think that we often forget about this amazing gift of God's presence which is His Holy Spirit and instead turn to the people around us for help, who may not always have our best interests at heart.
Now, I don't know about you, but I've definitely experienced the incredible help of the Holy Spirit in my life. However, I know there's always room for more of Him, less of me. Even as share this, I strive to seek Him with all my heart.
And here's the thing: We're sharing this because we desire it just as much for ourselves as we do for you. Our ultimate goal is to see everyone within our sphere of influence living in the victory God sent Jesus for.
So, let's make it a daily habit, shall we? Let's be intentional about seeking the help from the Holy Spirit before anyone else. Let's be tuned in to His promptings and guidance.
Are you with Him on this journey, my friend? Together, you can live in His victory and experience the joy and peace that only He can provide.
Prayer: Dear God, I rely on the Holy Spirit to empower and re-energize me. Guide me in seeking help from You before anyone else. Let the Holy Spirit reveal Your will and direction for my life. Open my eyes to see the people of influence You bring into my journey. Help me to discern Your guidance and to walk faithfully according to Your plans. In Jesus' name, Amen.
