21-Day Fast & Prayer Into & Through Your Next SeasonSýnishorn
As you navigate and dive deep into this fast, things will heat up! They did for me when I did it and do each time I make a decision to fast.
And you know, it's totally understandable if some of you are feeling a bit weary, thinking to yourself, “I’m only halfway there...”
… Pause for a moment and give thanks to God that you’re ALREADY halfway there! That's a reason to celebrate right there!
When the Lord had laid this fast on my heart, I’d felt a sense of warning. I knew that the heat of opposition would intensify in my life, trying to distract us from it’s true purpose, to be rebuilt in Jesus and I have no doubt you might be having a similar experience.
This opposition might be in family divisions, financial strain, or health issues. But let me share a little nugget with you: Just like Ezra sought protection while rebuilding the temple and was indeed protected, we too experienced that divine covering when we did this same fast.
I can't even begin to express the countless ways God showed up for us. But let me tell you, we are so grateful that our focus was firmly fixed on the Lord. This allowed us to not only be instruments of intercession for our loved ones, but also to seek God's protection and His perfect plan and purpose for our own lives.
I share this to encourage you to keep trusting God in the midst of it all. Continually seek Him and let Him be your source of strength. He will see you through!
Press on and experience the incredible strengthening power of our Heavenly Father.
Stay blessed and keep the faith!
Prayer: Lord, I humble myself before You, recognizing that I cannot accomplish anything on my own. Help me to keep my focus on You and seek Your guidance and leading. Give me strength to endure any discouragement or setbacks that come my way. Thank You for inviting me to be a part of Your divine plan. I trust in Your guidance and protection as I’m rebuilt in you to rebuild others with you and fulfill Your purpose. In Jesus' name, Amen.
