When I Feel I'm Not Good Enough
God is greater
Our sin and brokenness do not surprise Him and limit Him. Right now, there is a God available to you who can do what is humanly impossible (1 John 2:1). He is a God who can crush hearts of stone, a God who can give you a new heart, who can take out all the bitterness, "un-forgiveness and un-mercy" and hatred and give divine peace and hope instead (Ezekiel 36:26-27).
God is greater, always greater. His grace is greater. His grace is guaranteed grace. With him, there is ample grace available (John 1:16).
But you have to exclaim yourself. It remains your choice (John 1:9-10).
Look at the cross: it is empty. Look at the tomb: it is empty. Look up into heaven, and you will, like Stephen, see the Son of God standing on the right hand of God (Acts 7:56). Behold Jesus: your Anchor and Hope. Then, in the Lord Jesus, your eternity is fixed, and there is the Source from which living water is measured for your daily needs in sufficient quantities.
A final word: God sees your past, but he plans for your future. He doesn't look past it. You can come to God as you are, but don't leave His presence as you came. Surrender your life to Him. Ask Him to cleanse, cleanse, make you new — and then follow Him.
About this Plan
All of us go through life with much pain, failures, and regrets. So often, we despair of ourselves. We come to a point where we do not feel useful or worthy and also think even God will not waste His time with us. May the following Scriptures and devotions be helpful to you.
