BE THE MAN WHO RECOGNIZES GOD’S STRENGTH
Daniel was a man who, at any point, could probably be voted as the smartest in the room. Of course, God was wiser than Daniel, but Daniel was sold out to following God—so God gave him a wisdom that was unmatched in the world at the time. When Daniel spoke, he calmed fear and inspired trust with his convincing arguments. He understood the world around him and the God who made that world. God even helped him interpret dreams. Daniel’s lifelong pursuit of God put him in the ranks of the wisest men who’ve ever lived. As those around him immersed themselves in a smelly marinade of jealousy, spite, and vindictiveness—trying their best to ruin a good man's reputation—Daniel stood out as a man of strength. Feel free to read the book of Daniel to see who succeeded. A man of strength knows that his “God wisdom” doesn’t depend on the opinions of the jealous, spiteful, and vindictive. These people don’t like anything that reminds them of their imperfection. God’s wisdom can do that. It’s also the thing that points them toward a strength that only God can supply.
How can becoming wise make you more aware of God’s strength? Do you employ this wisdom in your everyday life?
