You Can Do This! 7 Steps That Make a Big DifferenceSýnishorn
Have you been falsely accused?
"Jesus, I really need Your intervention right now! Help me!" The prayer shot out of my mouth while I was still in the car.
I had just returned from an appointment to hear a voicemail that revealed a huge misunderstanding. Since I hadn't been immediately available, I hadn't been able to respond. Now I felt guilty, even though I had nothing to do with it.
Oh, emotions run high when something like this happens. I wondered which person I should talk to first. Who would give me the best advice? And would it make any difference, since it was after the fact? I decided to cry out to God, the One who should be our first contact in all cases.
I think we all can get better at running to Him first! It's great and good to share with friends and seek advice, but only after we talk to God. Imagine how frustrating it must be for Him to constantly watch us share our problems with the world instead of Him when He's right there, waiting with the solution! If God already has the solution, why are we still sharing our worries with the world?
"The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD." (Lamentations 3:25-26, NKJV)
To make a long story short, before the sun had even set, the problem I was experiencing had cleared up in a truly awesome way. I was even better off at the end than I was before the problem arose! The Lord rewarded me with a miraculous outcome because I responded in honesty and prayer to Him. Only God can do that!
Will you trust your worries to Him today and wait for Him?
You are a miracle!
