Real Hope: Finding Shelter

DAY 3 OF 5

Planted Relief

Change is the only constant in life.

We’ve all heard that phrase before and the truth within it is evident. Change truly is the only constant. I am one of those weird people who embrace change. I enjoy the freshness change can bring, like a good old southerly blowing in after a hot summer’s day.

But change can also be scary. The instability of uncertainty can cause us to cower in fear over what will happen next. Just like the southerly that brings welcomed relief, it also brings big storm clouds, thunder, lightning, and powerful winds. A combination that is full-on uncertainty.

And then there’s God who, like the leafy plant, grows up over us in our times of change and uncertainty to provide relief. He doesn’t remove the uncertainty. He doesn’t prevent change. He simply provides a shelter for us to seek refuge in. If only to find a few moments of ease from the discomfort of life.

About this Plan

Real Hope: Finding Shelter

Life has a way of throwing us curve balls. Whether it is illness, relationship breakdowns, changes in job circumstances, financial challenges or just change in general. This plan is created to prompt us to seek God first in the moments of change and challenge. To turn to the arms of God knowing He is our place of rest, peace and shelter.
