Pushing With Perseverance to Purpose Sýnishorn
Persevering Purpose Prevails
As a skateboarder I have spent hours of my life persevering towards a goal. Whether it’s learning something new, filming a trick for a video, trying to get a photo for a magazine, or recovering from an injury, I’ve had to learn how to push myself when I feel like I have nothing left to give. I have scars, torn ligaments, and broken bones from riding a skateboard, but I continue to push because I have a passion for skateboarding.
Our walk as followers of Jesus was never intended to be safe. I’ve gone through some hard seasons in my life that have left me spiritually scarred, mentally drained, and wrestling with God. What I’ve learned is that when I wrestle with God, He’s still close. I’m not afraid to go through hell because I am passionate about reaching people who don’t know Jesus. I may come out of the other side smelling like smoke, but I am passionate about robbing hell and helping populate Heaven.
Choose to persevere, push when you have nothing left to give, and choose to continue to do the difficult things because when you finally have nothing left to give, God’s strength shows up and He moves in the ways that only He can. Continue to push with perseverance to purpose.
Focus: Don't stop chasing your purpose after this bible plan ends! I'm writing this devotional in the middle of a global pandemic because I know that in every season, even in an uncertain one, that we always have a God given purpose. I pray that these past seven days will help you persevere in the difficult seasons to push towards your purpose.

About this Plan
As a skateboarder, I’ve been pushing around on my skateboard for years. I’ve pushed through the streets of different cities, events, and even inside multiple churches! When I said yes to following Jesus, I started pushing toward my God given purpose. This bible plan is intended to help you learn to push with perseverance to your God given purpose.
