Think and Live at the Level of God's Grace and Goodness
We all make mistakes, but I believe there is not a more liberating fact in the world than knowing that Jesus is our intercessor.
Many times, when we make mistakes, we have a habit of self-condemnation, and we mistakenly think that we can no longer attend church, raise our hands in worship or serve God. Our erroneous thoughts lead us to believe that God is a religious, legalistic father, always ready to condemn and mistreat His children.
Friend, God is not sitting on His throne with a rod to beat you and condemn you. He sent His son to die on a cross to forgive you and raise you up. It is extremely important that, knowing this, you elevate your thinking and bring your mind to the level of God's grace.
Many times, we think we have the authority to tell others how they should live, how they should change to please God with their works.
I want to challenge us today to allow the water of the Scriptures, their power, authority and beauty to wash away the garbage in our minds. That we stop thinking like Latinos and think like citizens of heaven, at the level of God's thoughts.
Don't limit your thoughts to your experiences, raise them to the level of God's word, which has no limits. You can think in a higher and broader way than you have up to now.
Have you ever thought that God is not good?
I love what the psalmist says about this. He's sure to see the goodness of God on this earth. God is good and has good things planned for your life!
You may wake up expecting something bad to happen to you, but I want to encourage you to try the opposite. Complications will come, because we live in a fallen world. But we serve a God who is good and who transforms things into the best for us.
You probably can't leave your house because of the current situation, or you haven't yet achieved everything you would have liked in this season of your life, but you can spend time with your surroundings, with your family, and wake up every morning with a new day ahead of you.
What do your thoughts lead you to expect for today?
