What Fuels Your Thoughts?
It is usually in the darkness and in the moments when we feel alone that we feed our thoughts the wrong things and with negativity.
I find it curious that we are used to renewing our passport, our driver's license, our house, our car and our closet. We renew so many things and fail in the most important aspect: our way of thinking.
Of all things, the only one that at the end of the day will determine our measure of faith, the way we see God and how we walk with him, is our mentality.
And to renew our mind we need to feed our thoughts with the Word of God. Gandhi once said that man becomes what he thinks.
But to renew our thinking is not a metaphysical concept, it's biblical.
God wants His word to determine what is in our minds. As people of faith, we should not be afraid to analyze, to ask questions and to grow our minds. Faith does not lead us to be foolish.
Let us take responsibility for our mentality, so that tomorrow, when a problem arises, our thoughts will not fail and our perspective will not be clouded.
Today, I want to encourage you to make the decision to take wrong thoughts captive.
Thinking right is a daily decision that you will have to make. It may seem difficult, but remember that if you elevate the level of your thoughts, you will elevate the level of your life.
