Living in a Reset WorldSýnishorn
Look beyond the ruins and envision the possibilities.
Nehemiah urges people to look beyond the ruins and envision the possibilities. We live in a world right now where so many things have collapsed: the economy, businesses, rules of engagement, our routines, etc. Suddenly, we find ourselves yearning for life to get back to how it was 60 days ago — we complained about traffic jams and travel times, we woke up early to catch a flight, we boarded crowded trains — all of this feels like a beautiful past.
It's time for us to make a choice to stop living under the ruins of the past and instead, with God's help, envision the future. Vision is what we see with our mind’s eye while sight is what we see with our eyes. Nehemiah and his people built the city wall in record time of only 52 days.
