Living in a Reset WorldSýnishorn
Embrace the new normal but don’t forget your foundations.
We know that Joseph had incredible promises of elevation and promotion. He also enjoyed favor from his earthly father and lived a comfortable life in his father’s house. However, in a sudden turn of events, he found himself sold as a slave by his own brothers. Did Joseph throw himself a pity party? No. Did he spend excessive time dwelling on his comfortable past? No. He moved on and faced the challenges that lay before him head on.
Letting go of our past enables us to accept the new opportunities of the present and adapt to the future. The seasons change but God’s promises and His purpose remain the same! So, don't complain or cry about this current situation. Instead, choose to accept the new normal. Everything around you may be different, but God remains the same. He is the rock of ages who never changes!
