Praise for the One Who Makes a Way
The magnitude this moment carried not lost,
I burst into singing, praise without exhaust.
My song mirrored one lifted so long ago
That Miriam raised up at Egypt’s great blow.
God parted the sea for His chosen make way
With same hand He calms storms, commands waves to stay.
While He is quite able to tread on sea’s foam
Our foes, like our sins, sink to depths like a stone.
I kept a small shell from the sea’s edge that day
Recalling great barriers taken away
With His mighty hand He will humble the proud,
With His grace extended, lifts faces once bowed.
About this Plan
In this devotional written from the perspective of Jesus' mother, Mary vulnerably and honestly details the intimate moments of her experience as a mom. In each compelling scene, Mary treasures a small token to remember it by. Little does she know the divine significance each item will play in the ultimate purpose of her son’s role on earth.
