Who Is Your Net?
According to Strong’s Concordance, another definition for “Fortress” is, “Net”. When you’re in trouble who do you run to? Run to God — He is your Net. He is your Fortress. God is the Ultimate Counselor. He is Omniscient and has the answer to everything. Let His Word direct your footsteps. Engage God first.
In addition to engaging God, let God lead you to the right counselors and mentors after His heart. Proverbs 11:14 KJV declares, “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” In the multitude of Godly, mature and wise counsel, there is safety.
Who is your safety net? First, put your trust in God and then let Him lead you to His trusted counselors. Let God lead you. Let God lead your thoughts. Surround yourself with His Word. Trust that God will handle your problem. Cast your cares to Him and He’ll take care of your need.
Matthew 6:8 KJV states, “...For your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” God the Father knows what you have need of before you ask. Let God be your fortress and shield. He is your net and He will not let you fall.
Psalms 91:7 KJV declares, “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.” God’s net will not break. Put your life and trust in His hands. He is your net and He will not let you fall. Trust that God is for you and He has set people in place to shower you with His Favor.
