Ephesians: 7-Day Reading Plan By Doxa DeoSýnishorn
Chapter 6
Our New Strength
This chapter starts with Paul giving instructions regarding the relationship between children and parents, and slaves and masters.
What are the implications of these instructions in your life?
Finally, Paul gives us principles for standing firm against the schemes of the devil. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against evil. God gives us spiritual armour to stand firm and we are to use the Word and Prayer as powerful weapons.
"the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints …" (Ephesians 6:17-18)
Are you standing firm currently? What pieces of armour might be relevant to your situation?
Are you using the weapons of the Word and Prayer daily?
Pray that we would grow in knowing God, loving people, and impacting our world.
Read Ephesians 6.
