Ephesians: 7-Day Reading Plan By Doxa DeoSýnishorn
Chapter 3
What God has done between us.
Paul explains how the mystery of the Gospel was revealed to him, and that he is a steward of preaching the gospel.
The role of the church is to make known the manifold wisdom of God to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
Through Jesus Christ, we have boldness and confident access – through our faith in Him! We are empowered for Kingdom living, through Christ.
How bold are you?
Do you live as if you have full access to God, through faith in Jesus Christ?
Paul then prays for spiritual strength. He prays that we may grasp the extravagance of Christ’s love and know it for ourselves. This love is fundamental to living with the fullness of God.
Pray for the believers in our city to know the fullness of Christ's love, and that we would be rooted and grounded in this love.
Paul ends off by exalting Jesus and challenges us regarding God’s ability to do BEYOND what we ask or think.
"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." (Ephesians 3:20-21)
