Easter - Victory Over Death

DAY 3 OF 5

All of your prayers are heard!

Yesterday, I reminded you that Jesus chose the way of the cross out of love for you...Throughout our lives, we may go through some of the sufferings that our Savior endured...Even as we raise our prayers, entrusting them to Him, some don’t seem to be heard…

It makes me think of a bottle with a message thrown into the sea…How long does it take, how many miles does it travel, before it falls into the hands of a well-meaning person?

What are the bottles you have “entrusted to the sea”? How long ago?

Is yours perhaps for a husband (wife) or a child you’ve been waiting for...for too long? Or healing for an illness said to be incurable? A lifestyle change or change of direction that’s slow in coming? Or perhaps a project to bless those who’ve been trampled upon or marginalized?

Whatever “messages” you’re sending out to God, none will be lost. They all arrive at their destination!

  • He listens to every one of your prayers. (see Proverbs 15:29)
  • He hears your pleas. (see Psalm 116:1-2)
  • He inclines His heart towards you. (see Psalm 40:2)
  • He is moved by your distress. (see Psalm 18:7)
  • He is touched by your tears. (see Psalm 6:8)

Yes, praying is the privilege of sowing words into eternity! It’s also the gift of sharing what weighs you down, saddens you, and worries you with the One who understands everything, who knows everything. When you open your heart to God, you allow Him to breathe on yours by His Spirit.

I encourage you to talk to God every day, without fear or restraint, but with the assurance that you’re being heard by Him. He is your Father, and He is attentive to everything you’re going through!

Let’s end in prayer…“Lord, sometimes the time seems long, and I start to doubt that You’re hearing my prayers. Forgive me, and teach me to remain patient and confident. I know that You’re never late or early but always on time to answer me. Thank You for Your grace and love. In Your name, amen.”

Persevere in prayer. God has the solution to all your problems!

Have a good day, always tuned in with your Savior!

Thanks for existing!
