Man In Crisis

DAY 12 OF 12

Be the Man God Always Meant You to Be

I’ll leave you with this. There is no better advice for enduring what you are going through than that of the Apostle Peter. If you can master what Peter encourages us to learn in the passage below, you will indeed be a Gibraltar of a man. A man who can love beyond pain, sacrifice till the bitter end, gently care for everyone around him, fight the demons inside himself and the dangers outside. He can overcome all things to the glory of God.

1 Peter 5: 6-11 ‘Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that your brotherhood is experiencing the same kinds of suffering throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.’

Take this to heart and BE the man God has always intended you to be. Regardless of the response from any other person. Regardless of the outcome of any situation. Regardless of the pain, the loss, the blood, the dying. Irrespective of all else - BE God’s man!
