1871 BC When Isaac is about 25, God asks Abraham to sacrifice Isaac on Mt. Moriah then stays his hand. In 1861 BC Sarah dies (126). In 1856 BC Isaac (40) marries his cousin Rebekah.

Note: The life of Isaac was offered on or near the hilltop called Mt. Moriah (Genesis 22:2), the site of the future Jerusalem Temple (2 Chronicles 3:1), where Jesus offered up His own life. Thus the offering of Isaac was a type. The historian Josephus says Isaac was 25.
