THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

Gratitude is crucial! People who are thankful reflect the kindness and care of the heavenly Father. Yes, gratitude reminds our heart, and when we remember what God has done, our faith is strengthened. As the prophet Jeremiah said, “Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:" (Lamentations 3:21). There are no limits of what to be thankful for. We are surrounded by love. When we can see that, it changes everything. If you are grateful for the Father's care, you will be lighter, more joyful, and more content.

A grateful person does not live as if others owe them something, but rather as if they are indebted to others. Living like that adds value to all areas of life. Grateful people bless us, don't they? They live in a heavenly atmosphere that does good to everyone around them. If your financial life is difficult, give thanks. If your financial life is doing well, give thanks. Ungrateful people will always be complaining and will have a negative influence wherever they go. Ungrateful people live the opposite of how God intended, thinking that the world should revolve around them. That kind of attitude is not God's plan. In fact, the key point in the temptation in Eden was to doubt God’s intentions, to think that God was withholding something good.

But God is good! He made everything perfect, and the sooner we understand and live according to that, the better. Decide to be grateful regardless of the circumstances. Your current financial difficulty is not the end. Give Mammon a knockout punch! Defeat him by being grateful! Do it– because everyone who gives thanks, grows!

Remember: Grateful people move forward! Choose a lifestyle of gratitude because if you have Jesus, you have everything!
