1 Korintus 9:20-21 TSI

Waktu bersama orang Yahudi, saya hidup seperti orang Yahudi demi memenangkan mereka. Waktu bersama orang yang masih terikat dengan hukum Taurat, saya juga hidup seperti mereka demi memenangkan mereka yang hidupnya terikat hukum Taurat. Tetapi waktu bersama orang-orang yang bukan pengikut hukum Taurat, yaitu orang bukan Yahudi, saya juga hidup seperti orang yang tidak memikirkan hukum Taurat. (Sebenarnya saya tidak melupakan hukum Taurat, tetapi saya diatur oleh Hukum Kristus.) Saya hidup seperti mereka supaya dapat memenangkan orang yang hidup tanpa hukum Taurat.
