Imagine a life where...
I love the word behold. To behold our heavenly Father. To gaze upon Him, to know Him more intimately, to decipher His voice more clearly, to have more of Him, to seek Him more earnestly, to be more aware of our sin and His sovereignty, to put Him in His rightful and exalted place in our lives, to transform our prayer lives so that we listen more and talk less, to long to sit with Him in the still, to love Him more, to enjoy Him more, and to allow Him to be our only Lord and the one who consumes most of our thoughts. Wouldn’t that be a joy!
If the last four years have taught us anything it’s that we’re not in control. So, no matter what comes our way, if this were to be our posture, we would be unstoppable because of His power within us!
Imagine a life where we are not limited by what we can (or can’t) do. Imagine a life where we continuously recognise our place before the almighty God. Imagine a life where we seek God’s wisdom above the wisdom of this world. Imagine a life where we put God first and allow Him to tell us what else we should fill our life with.
Imagine a life lived in wholehearted gratitude for His unfailing love. Imagine a life of complete and beautiful submission to the One who created us.
Imagine a life where we enjoy His joy, His goodness and His love forever.
That’s a life I want! Let’s behold the Father together, today.
