Won’t You Be My Neighbor?Օրինակ
One way we can be better neighbors in this season is through awareness of the people around us. It’s very easy to get caught up in our own issues, problems, and discomforts, but often times, when we focus on ourselves, we overlook the people around us who may be struggling. Times are tough for many right now, with unemployment, racism, and a global pandemic as daily struggles, but we would do well to remember that no man is an island unto himself. God created us to be in community, and He commanded us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. There is a group of people in our world that is tired of being overlooked and marginalized. We HAVE to pay attention to how our actions, words, and behaviors affect them and the other people around us.
Questions:
- Is there someone in your world who you have overlooked in this season? How can you reach out to them or help them?
- Take inventory of your actions, words, and behaviors. Are you overlooking any areas in your life that may have a negative impact on others? What is one thing you can do to change that?
