21 Days of CelebrationՕրինակ
Day 18
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven...
a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;”
Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 ESV
Question:
What does it take to celebrate God in every season you experience?
Application:
This excerpt from an extensive portion of poetic scripture is actually written by one of the very few people who had the capacity to convey a holistic reference of life and the involvement of God through a vast array of experiences. Make an appointment with someone a generation older than you so that you can ask for their experience of Celebration.
Learn how they celebrated God through highs and lows. (It may be helpful to make an appointment for the conversation so as not to spring the idea on them, especially since the person is older in age)
Prayer:
God, I always want to learn and to enlarge my capacity to celebrate you and the life I now live. I know you are teaching me in this time. I invite you once again, Holy Spirit, to quicken my heart and mind to celebrate!

Take the adventure through God's word and see transformation in your life as you exercise the muscles of celebration. Much is made about the need for a reason to celebrate. To truly understand the Good News is to focus away from striving for personal accomplishment and instead, walking with the Father God, receiving all that has been accomplished through Jesus on our behalf, empowering us for a life of celebration.
