1and Yaakov has lifted up his eyes, and has a look done, see Esav come on, and four hundred men with him; has he divided the children to Leah, and to Rachel, and to the two maid servants. 2and he has stood the maid servants and their children first, and Leah and her children behind them, and Rachel and Yosef the last. 3and he is went them ahead of (them), and he has self bowed to the earth seven times until he has come near to his brother.
4is Esav him ran to meet, and he has him embraced, and is him fell on neck, and has him kissed, and they have wept. 5and he has lifted up his eyes, and has seen the women and the children, and he has said: who are the these by you(SG)? has he said: the children with which G-d has shown favor to your servant.
6have come near the maid servants, they and their children, and have self bowed. 7and also Leah and her children have come near, and have self bowed; and afterwards have come near Yosef and Rachel, and have self bowed.
8has he said: what (intent) is by you(SG) the this whole camp which I have met? has he said: to find favor in the eyes of my master. 9has Esav said: I have enough, my brother, shall remain by you(SG) what by you(SG). 10has Yaakov said: no, I entreat you; if, I entreat you, I have found favor in your eyes, shall you (sg) accept my gift from my hand, because I have seen your face, thus as they see the face of G-d, and you (sg) have me granted. 11accept on, I entreat you, my gift which is you(SG) brought having become, for G-d has me shown favor to, and for by me is here of all that is. and he is urged to him, until he has accepted.
12has he said: let us journey and go, and I will go near you(SG). 13has he to him said: my master knows that the children are young/tender, and the sheep and the cattle are by me nursing, and that they will them driven on one day, will die all sheep. 14shall, I entreat you, my master go away ahead of before his servant, and I will me journey lagging after the feet of the livestock which before me, and after the feet of the children, until whence I will come to my master at Se'ir. 15has Esav said: let me delay by you(SG) from the people which with me. has he said: yet which really shall I find favor in the eyes of my master?
16and Esav has self returned in that day on his way to Se'ir. 17and Yaakov has journeyed to Sukkot, and he has built for self a house, and for his livestock has he made shelters/booths; therefore has they called the name of the place Sukkot.
18and Yaakov is having come in peace in the city Shechem which in land Canaan, when he is having come from Paddanah-Aram; and he has made camp before the city. 19and he has purchased this portion/parcel field which he has there set up/pitched his tent, from the hand of the children of Chamor the father of Shechem, for hundred kesitahs. 20and he has there set up a altar, and has it called El Elokei Yisroel.
