Christians have weird ideas. They have an alternate belief system about reality. These beliefs are countercultural. To a non-Christian, they probably sound crazy. But once you come to trust the one who claims to have made reality, reality comes into greater focus.
Jesus shows you reality, and wants us to conform our beliefs about reality to his view of reality. When his view comes into conflict with our own ideas and understanding, he wants us to trust that his view is right, making it the governing source of our worldview. Despite rejecting them, the world yearns for the essence of these truths. Christ brings clarity to humanity’s deepest yearnings.

Christians are different. They can’t help it. When you’re in Christ and filled with the Spirit, it changes you. This leads to weird ideas and alternate beliefs about reality.
