Good Questions: What Do I Need to Do to Be Saved?Primjer
Step One
Do you ever feel lost, like you’re searching for something but can’t find it? Maybe you’ve tried different religions, philosophies, or self-help methods, but nothing seems to satisfy that deep longing in your soul. If you can relate to this, I have good news.
In Romans 10:5–10, we find the answer to one of the most important questions of all: how do we respond to the gospel and find personal salvation? These verses reveal the key to unlocking the door to a life of true fulfillment, joy, and purpose. Salvation is not about performing difficult works or trying to be perfect to get into heaven. It’s about our personal response to the gospel. We must trust in Jesus with our whole hearts and confess Him as Lord. This is not just a matter of intellectual assent; it’s a personal decision that involves your whole self.
Have you personally trusted in Jesus Christ? This is not a decision that can be made for you by anyone else. It’s a decision that you must make for yourself. You must believe in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead and confess with your mouth that He is Lord. This personal response is not just a one-time event. It’s the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, a commitment to follow Jesus as our Lord and Savior. As we live out this commitment, our lives are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. We will no longer be slaves to sin but are set free to live for Christ.
So, let me ask you: are you ready to respond to the gospel personally? Are you ready to trust in Jesus wholeheartedly and confess Him as Lord? If so, know that you are not alone. Millions of people have made this decision and found true freedom and purpose in life. And if you have already responded to the gospel, are you living out your commitment to follow Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Are you walking in faith and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform your life? If not, don’t be discouraged. It's never too late to recommit your life to Christ and start anew.
The path to personal salvation is not always easy, but it is worth it. It is worth it to experience God’s love and grace, find meaning and purpose, and have the hope of eternal life. So, let us respond to the gospel personally, with joy and gratitude, and let us share this good news with others so that they, too, may come to know God’s love through salvation in Jesus Christ.

How do we respond to the gospel? We do so personally and for eternity. Our life has an impact when we persistently point people to Jesus. How do we love people who don’t know Him? We pray for them. Our heart’s desire is for their salvation. Everyone is welcome to receive the gospel.
