Pearls of Grace: 12 Pearls + 12 PrayersPrimjer
Praise: Praise be to God! To Him be all the glory, honor, and praise! May praise be on our lips, in our minds, and flow from our hearts each day. Rejoice in the Lord! Paul says, "Rejoice, again I say rejoice!" He is God and He is worthy of all of our worship and all of our praise each and every day. “This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Ps.118:24).
These twelve pearls of grace are just a glimpse of the grace God has given us. In Christ, we are rich beyond comprehension. God is worthy of all of our praise morning, noon, and night. Sinclair Ferguson writes, "The single most important activity of your life is to worship God. You were made for this – to offer your whole life, in all its parts, as a hymn of praise to the Lord. When the psalmist says: “Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name” (Ps. 103:1), he is speaking as a spiritual athlete in peak condition; his entire life is unreservedly directed to the Lord in praise; whole-heartedness of devotion to God is his most obvious characteristic."
May we remember the beautiful strand of grace God placed around our necks at our spiritual birth. Each day may we choose to walk in His grace. May our hearts be filled with thanksgiving and praise for the amazing grace we have been given in Christ, to the glory of His name!
Father, only you can open my eyes to see the immeasurable riches of your inheritance. Open the eyes of my heart. Help me study your Word, take it to heart, meditate upon it, and believe it, so that I can live in the pearls of your grace each day. May you receive all the glory due your name! In Jesus' name. Amen.
