1Cum comhthrom riom, is tagair fèin
mo chúis, on fhineach olc,
On èugcorach, 'ſo fhear na ceilg'
Dhè ſaorſa mè on lochd.
2Crèud as far theilg tu miſe uait?
'ſgur tu mo Dhia 'ſmo threoir;
Crèud as bhri forneart meaſcairdeadh,
far ſhiobhlam fèin fuidh bhròn?
3Dhia, tfírinn' is do ſholus glan
leíg chugam ſud amach:
Dam theorug hadh chum do thulaich naomh,
'ſmo thabhairt chum do theach.
4'N Sin racham dionnſaidh altair Dhè,
an Dia ſin m' aoibhnas mhóir';
Ar clàirſigh bhinn do mholfam thú,
O Dhia, mo Dhia na glòir'.
5O Manam, crèud far leagadh thù
le dìoghbhail meiſnigh ſíos?
Is crèud fa-bhfuil tu ntaobh ſtigh dhíom,
fuidh aithmheul, is fuidh ſgíos?
Cuir dòchas ann an Dia gu ſeth,
oir molfam é do ghna,
Os ſè is ſláinte do mo ghnúis,
's gur hè mo Dhia gu bràth.
