Because of God’s mercy and love toward us, He saved us. We are saved not because of anything we have earned, but because of God’s grace. Now that we have been saved, we need to live reflecting the change Christ has made in our lives. Sweet friend, sin no longer has power over you. Because of Jesus’ death, we are no longer slaves to sin and our old sinful ways, now we can live with the hope of heaven in our hearts and a new purpose for our lives. Because of Christ’s help in our lives, we can rise in victory over those areas where we once failed with God’s help.
