Revelation: The Unveiling Of Jesus Christનમૂનો
A vision of the Lord seated on His throne
Then suddenly, after I wrote down these messages, I saw a heavenly portal open before me, and the same trumpet-voice I heard speaking with me at the beginning broke the silence and said, “Ascend into this realm! I want to reveal to you what must happen after this.” Instantly I was taken into the spirit realm, and behold—I saw a heavenly throne set in place and someone seated upon it. Revelation 4:1–2 The Passion Translation
Can you imagine seeing what John saw? What was this heavenly portal? It was a door into the eternal, a gateway into glory. John did not simply watch these events happen through an open door, he was taken through the open door into the heavenly realm. In Revelation 3:20 Jesus stood knocking on a closed door; now John passes through an open door. John was instantly drawn into this divine encounter. It must have frightened him to be lifted out of this earth-realm and be taken into a heavenly-realm. Imagine if it happened to you!
Then the reassuring voice of the Lord Jesus soothed his heart as his eyes began to focus on the celestial. In the spirit realm, John was stunned by what he saw. It was the throne room of God and there upon the throne was One in dazzling splendor. Lights, sounds, fragrances, and glory flooded into his being. There was The One, the Only One, the Three-in-One!
Whenever someone in the Bible gets a glimpse into this beautiful realm of heaven, they all see the same thing. A throne. God is in charge and runs His kingdom and His “house” with excellence and endless authority.
Perhaps you need a vision today of the Lord seated on His throne. He has your life in His hands and numbers your days, your thoughts, even the hairs on your head. He can be trusted. Let go of worry and disappointment. See your King seated on a throne, drawing you closer to His heart. Yes, there is one who is worthy to lead you through life and receive all your praise.
