Jesus did many amazing miracles – and even though He was God incarnate, He spent time in private prayer. If this was essential for Him to fulfill His calling, how much more should we be men and women who spend time in private prayer so that we accomplish the purposes God has for us?

"Lord Jesus, we need to spend time in Your presence to worship, to intercede and to hear Your voice. I pray for a greater level of zeal and commitment to spend time with You in prayer, in worship and in just waiting on You. In Jesus's name. Amen."
