Created to Hear Godનમૂનો

God has never hesitated to use words, phrases, and dialogue to speak to His people. We see accounts of this in both the Old and New Testaments.
Before Jesus came to earth, God spoke through individuals as conduits of His voice. People such as Noah, Jacob, David, and Jonah heard the voice of God and shared it with people on earth. God gave them a special ability to hear His words and assignments to share them...
When Jesus promised the presence of God would come to His followers after He was gone, He signaled an important change to the status quo. God no longer wanted to speak only through certain individuals but to each of us. He does this by the gift of the Holy Spirit. “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth” (John 14:16–17). Another name for the Spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit. “When he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come” (John 16:13).
The Bible promises the gift of the Holy Spirit to everyone who commits their life to Christ (Acts 2:38). Why is this important? Because among His divine roles, the Holy Spirit is the voice of God in your life, consistently allowing you to hear Him speak to you anytime and anywhere.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to help and comfort me. Please help me to know Your truth and to follow You in all ways. Amen.
