Thriving in Every Seasonનમૂનો

Seasons of Purpose
I recently visited St. Anne’s Park in Dublin with my family. The park has a stunning rose garden, but since we went during winter, we didn’t get to see any of its beautiful blooms. The garden was still lovely in its own way, but one of my kids remarked, “I bet this looks amazing in spring or summer.” And they were absolutely right. Though the garden remained beautiful, we missed out on the full display of its colors and fragrance, something others get to witness in the right season.
Just like nature, our lives go through different seasons. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, “There is a time for everything.” Each season we experience, whether joyful or challenging, has a purpose and, believe it or not, its own beauty. Sometimes, we feel stuck or as if we’re not moving forward, but God is using that season to shape us into the person He created us to be. Every stage of life prepares us for what’s ahead. If we rush through the process, we risk missing the very lessons, strength, and growth that equip us to step into God’s promises.
I don’t know what season of life you’re in right now, but one thing is certain: we can’t move forward while constantly looking back or trying to force our way ahead. In Scripture, God is often described as a potter shaping clay. If we resist His process, trying to rush through seasons, we may end up breaking under pressure, because we were never meant to skip the refining work He’s doing in us.
Remember, if you are in the Potter’s hands, you are safe. Every season draws us closer to God. Every season carries its own beauty. And every season is necessary for our journey. Through it, God equips us with the tools to walk confidently in His promises.
