This is the Hour!

As we conclude this devotional, I pray that you have been encouraged, challenged, and strengthened in your faith. Throughout the past days, we have explored the story of Esther, the power of obedience, the courage to step out, and the necessity of trusting God’s plan. Now, as we look ahead, we must recognize the significance of the times we are living in and our divine calling within them.

A Prophetic Call for This Season

During prayer, the Lord impressed upon my heart a reminder: His Church is His bride. Just as a couple in the early stages of love tends to their relationship with care and intentionality, so must we tend to the Church. In these last days, God has promised to pour out His Spirit upon His people, moving powerfully through those who are devoted to Him. We are not called to figure out every detail of how revival will happen; we are simply called to care for His bride, and He will do the rest.

A Call to Revival

The time for complacency is over. Now is the time to fervently pray for revival—not just in our churches but within our own hearts. Revival must first be ignited within us before it can spread to our homes, churches, cities, and regions. Joel 2:28-29 declares:

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female servants in those days, I will pour out my Spirit.”

A Call to Purity and Alignment

Isaiah 6:6-7 recounts how the prophet Isaiah, when confronted with God’s holiness, recognized his own sinfulness. Yet, God did not leave him in his guilt—He cleansed and commissioned him.

Many today are held back by guilt and shame, believing they are unworthy of God’s call. But just as God purified Isaiah, He is removing the guilt of many so they can freely step into their divine purpose. We are in a short period of grace to align ourselves with God’s will. Now is the time to cast off anything that does not please Him and surrender every area of our lives to Him.

A Call to Boldness Like Elijah

We are in a time that demands radical faith. Just as Jezebel rose up in biblical times to corrupt and destroy, today’s world is filled with deception, idolatry, and opposition to God’s truth. Yet, just as God raised up Elijah to confront the false prophets and call Israel back to Him, He is raising up a generation to do the same. The days of compromise are over. God is calling His people to take a stand—to choose this day whom they will serve.

For Such a Time as This

Just as Esther was born for her time in history, you were born for today. Not yesterday, not the distant future—today. If you have breath in your lungs, Jesus declares over your life: You have been born for such a time as this!

Esther’s story is not just about her bravery but about her surrender to God’s purpose. She valued the lives of her people more than her own comfort, and because of her obedience, deliverance came. Today, we are called to live with the same selflessness, using our influence for God’s glory rather than personal gain.

If you have ever questioned whether God is still at work, look to the story of Esther. His presence is unmistakable. The same God who orchestrated deliverance for His people then is still moving in our world today.

A Call to Action

The vision for the Church is to reach the unchurched and the lost. In a county filled with churches, why are there still so many who do not know Christ? We have been appointed to this assignment! God is calling us to rise up together and accomplish more than we ever could alone.

Expect opposition. Just as Esther faced enemies, the enemy will use people to try to hinder your purpose. But do not fear. What the enemy intends for harm, God will turn around for good.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, recognizing that You have called us for such a time as this. We surrender ourselves to Your purpose and ask that You ignite revival within us. Cleanse us, align us, and use us for Your glory. May we stand boldly in faith, unshaken by opposition, knowing that You are with us. Strengthen us to walk in obedience and courage, just as Esther did. Let Your Spirit move powerfully through us, our families, our churches, and our communities. We commit ourselves fully to You and trust that You will fulfill Your plans in and through us. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
