Welcome to day five! Today the focus is on legacy. When we consider the legacy we wish to leave, it is not solely about material wealth—it extends to faith, generosity, and wisdom that can influence generations to come. Proverbs 13:22 speaks to this enduring impact, reminding us that a good person leaves an inheritance not just for their children but for their children’s children. This challenges us to think beyond short-term needs or desires and instead view our resources as a means to bless those who come after us.

Leaving a legacy requires intentional stewardship. It means using our time, talents, and finances in ways that honor God and serve others. Generosity is central to this, for it reflects the heart of Christ. When we choose to give, we demonstrate our trust in God’s provision and our commitment to His kingdom.

2 Corinthians 9:8 reminds us of God’s abundant provision. When we align ourselves with His purpose, He blesses us so that we will “abound in every good work.” This passage underscores that God’s blessings are not merely for our own comfort or accumulation; they are meant to empower us to give and serve. As a couple, embracing this truth transforms how you approach finances. It shifts your focus from accumulating wealth for personal security to sharing God’s blessings in ways that bring hope and faith to others.

Together, couples can create a legacy rooted in generosity, faith, and wisdom. By seeking God’s will for your resources, you lay a foundation that extends beyond your own lifetime, pointing future generations to His faithfulness and love.
