1 Johnનમૂનો
One excellent and very effective way to understand what a book of the Bible is teaching is simply to list and study its straight forward instructions.
These are the instructions in 1 John. Ask the Holy Spirit to highlight one instruction for you to focus on today, and then read through the list.
- Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did - 2:6.
- Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them - 2:15.
- As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you - 2:24.
- But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him - 2:27.
- And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming - 2:28.
- Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray - 3:7.
- For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another - 3:11.
- Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother - 3:12.
- Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you - 3:13.
- This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters - 3:16.
- Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth - 3:18.
- And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us - 3:23.
- Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world - 4:1.
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God - 4:7.
- Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 4:11.
- And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister - 4:21.
- If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life - 5:16.
- Dear children, keep yourselves from idols - 5:21.
Why not write down the instruction that has made the biggest impression on you, and refer to it during the course of today?

About this Plan
It is often stated that in war: "The first casualty is truth". How can we discern genuine Christianity from false Christianity? This is the question addressed in 1 John, the letter we shall dive deep into in this plan. John writes in 1 John in the wake of a schism in the churches he oversees to help Christians like you and me navigate this leading question: what makes genuine Christianity genuine, and what are the features of false Christianity, and how can we tell the difference?
