I Love Jesus: 11-Day Devotional by Mac Powellનમૂનો
We love to make things overcomplicated.
Whether it’s juggling work, figuring out how to balance relationships, or standing in the grocery aisle trying to decide what on earth to make for dinner…
…we tend to overthink everything.
But the gospel is a simple truth:
God loves us so much that He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for us, so we could have eternal life if we believe in Him.
For me, that simple truth keeps everything in perspective.
And today, I want to remind you of that truth too.
When I wrote my song, “I Love Jesus,” I wanted to get back to basics.
No fluff. Just a pure declaration of faith. Jesus saved me, turned my life around, and gave me a new direction.
Here’s a glimpse of the lyrics:
I love Jesus, yes I do
I love Jesus, yes it's true
I love Jesus
I was on the wrong road
Lost as I could be
I needed a Savior to rescue me
You and I were lost, and Jesus was there. His sacrifice bought our freedom. Because of Him, we have eternal life.
That’s what this song is all about. Simple, but powerful.
Life can feel like one big autopilot sometimes.
We go through the motions, say, “Yeah, yeah...Jesus saved me,” but don’t really stop to let it sink in.
We need to remember. Remember the power of what Jesus has done. How He’s freed us from sin, how He’s turned our lives around, and how He’ll never leave us.
A challenge for you: Take 30 seconds today to reflect on the power of the gospel.
He’s the one who walks with you through every moment — good or bad — and He never gives up on you.
Whether you’ve known Jesus for years or are still figuring things out, I hope my song “I Love Jesus” encourages you.
So take a dance break, clap along, stomp your feet, and sing it out as a simple declaration of who Jesus is and why you love Him.
If you know Him like I do, sing it with me: “I love Jesus!”
