Find & Follow Jesus, Quarter 1નમૂનો
Week 1
(Genesis 1–8, Luke 1–4, Psalm 1–2)
Devotional
Since Genesis 3, we’ve lived in a world marked by sin and brokenness—a place full of distractions that pull us away from the Lord and keep us from experiencing true joy and peace. Yet, even in our weakness, Luke 1–4 reminds us of the good news: Jesus came to “proclaim good news to the poor… to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”
How often do we forget that Jesus has redeemed and freed us? A daily Bible reading plan can help us remember this truth, providing systems and habits that draw us back into God’s presence each day.
Psalm 1 paints a beautiful picture of the person who is rooted in Scripture: they are “like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither.” To navigate the challenges of life, we need the daily wisdom found in God’s Word and the guidance of His Holy Spirit.
Prayer
Ask the Lord to show you what kind of systems, structures, and habits you can add to your routines to stay rooted in Scripture and grow closer to Him.
About this Plan
Follow our quarterly plans to read through the entire Bible in one year, plus a bonus round through the Gospels and Romans. Each day has one verse we encourage you to write down, journal about, or memorize, and then you can read sections from both the Old Testament and New Testament. Every week we provide an additional devotional for further discussion on that week's themes.
