Living in Increase (Part 8) - Increase in Worshipનમૂનો
A Joyful Symphony
My husband, Austin, is definitely more musical than I am. I have a history with the piano and clarinet, but that’s about it. On the other hand, Austin can make a joyful noise with whatever you put in his hands, and he’s excellent at creating music with others.
When I read Psalm 98:5-6, I see that a way to worship God is by creating music with instruments, either solo or with others. A “symphony” is “an elaborate musical composition for full orchestra, typically in four movements, at least one of which is traditionally in sonata form.”
I’ll be honest. I don’t understand 90% of that definition, but I do know that a symphony is created for a full orchestra, which comprises at least 90 musicians!
Therefore, when the Scripture says to create a “joyful symphony” before God, it says we are to worship with others. Whether through singing, playing an instrument, or both, something powerful happens when we worship together!
