Living in Increase (Part 8) - Increase in Worshipનમૂનો
Praise and Worship
Do you know the quote, “Dance like no one else is watching?” We should praise God like no one else is watching.
I have perhaps struggled most with this form of worship because I have always praised God internally or in whispers. Singing praise and worship is one thing, but speaking or shouting words of praise and worship is out of my comfort zone. Whispers are all I manage to squeak out.
I know that God hears my spoken and unspoken praise either way; however, I should not fear shouting my praise to Him, especially if that fear is of what others around me may think. This fear of praising out loud shows I am not humbling myself before Him, which is a hard pill for me to swallow.
Today’s challenge is for you and me. Find a place where no one can hear you, and we’ll start with something easy. Let’s shout, “Thank you, Heavenly Father,” to Him repeatedly. We’ll start with a whisper and gradually get louder as we go until we shout our praise to Him.
How does it feel? For me, it felt a little weird to be shouting in an “empty room,” but to God, it was “holy and pleasing” because He knows they aren’t empty words.

Action Step: Shout praise to God every day this week until it feels comfortable and natural. Try shouting different praises to the Lord. Maybe, “I love you,” or “Amen,” or “Hallelujah,” or “Jesus.” Whatever the words are, mean them. Be authentic. Then, try it during a corporate worship experience. Let’s increase humility in worship together.
