Prayer Helps Us Hear God's Voice

God loves us so much and is delighted with us. He wants us to spend time with Him so much that He promises us wonderful things when we do.

The more we are with Him, the more we will begin to recognize His Voice speaking to us. Sometimes, He brings Scripture to mind. Sometimes, He brings light to a situation in our life. Always, He tells us how much He loves us.

When He shines a light on different things in our life and world, we see things the way He does and thus can know His Heart. What a gift, what a treasure! Lastly, notice the word “will” in Jeremiah 33:3. God promises that if you call unto Him, He WILL answer!

Action Step: Get a notebook and write a “love letter” to God. Tell Him how much you love Him and thank Him for what He’s done.
