Remember When I...નમૂનો
Which is better? Focusing on a big goal in your future or overthinking things in your past?
The writer of this verse says his big goal is to know God. Like really know God. He says he doesn’t have time to dwell on the past because he’s putting all his energy into the future and moving toward his goal. Imagine you’re a runner in the Olympics. When it’s time to run, you don’t focus on past losses or mistakes—you keep your eyes on the finish line and push forward with everything you’ve got. When it comes to forgiveness, what you focus on matters. Instead of focusing on past hurts, you can set your sights on something greater—growing closer to God.
Today, ask yourself this question: How can focusing on getting to know God help you improve your practice of forgiveness?
