A Year in Luke/Actsનમૂનો
What does the kingdom of God look like?
There are two parables and one image that Jesus uses to describe the kingdom in Luke 13. The parables of the mustard seed and the yeast describe how although it may not seem like much at the beginning, the kingdom of God works through small, simple acts that gradually change the world.
The image of the narrow door is again a warning that those who think they are first in line for the kingdom of God might find that they are last. The kingdom of God is where God’s will and reign are exercised. This includes outsiders, showing the heart of God for acceptance. This does not diminish the need for repentance because recognizing our need for Jesus remains the key to entering the kingdom.
