Acts 7:20-53 | Obstinate or Obedient?નમૂનો

Acts 7 is about one basic question: Will you be obedient or obstinate before the Work and Will of God? It’s a question for religious people. It’s a question for irreligious people. It’s a question Acts invites each of us to ask ourselves.
Stephen levels harsh accusations. Within it, he mentions circumcision in Acts 7:8 and in 7:51. Strange. But here’s the gist. Don’t put all your stock in your physical circumcision. Circumcise your hearts and ears. Cut off the callous and covering of your heart that makes you so obstinate. Be obedient to God.
The Sanhedrin wouldn’t hear of it. Their uncircumcision of soul and heart led them to kill Stephen rather than repent.
How about you? When challenged or convicted with God’s Will and God’s Way, will you be obstinate or obedient?
