How to Redeem Your Time

DAY 1 OF 9

Why Redeem?

What does it mean to redeem time? How can you do it?

In the reference texts cited in the reading plan, the verb redeem can also be synonymous with buy, recover, rediscover, and improve.

The need to redeem time is given first of all by the difficult situation in which we live, described in Ephesians with the phrase: "because the days are evil."

Faith in Christ gives us the possibility to:

  • redeem the time lost before knowing Him;
  • live the present in the abundance of the new life that He has given us;
  • hope for the future, trusting in His providence, and having the certainty of eternal life.

If these realities do not yet belong to you, you have the opportunity, right as you read these lines, to open your heart to Jesus Christ, allowing His Word to completely transform your life.

The second reason why we must redeem time, we find it in Colossians. We are asked to act wisely toward “them that are without,” that is, those who must see in us a living testimony of what Grace can do. This will make them want to know the One who can change their lives and redeem their time.

We will see in the next days of the plan how it is possible to redeem time.

About this Plan

How to Redeem Your Time

How many times have we wanted to go back in time to remedy the mistakes made or to avoid unpleasant situations? Unfortunately, this desire remains only a dream because we cannot travel in time. But in Christ, we have the possibility to use the present time in the best way, recovering through faith every moment of our life and spending it in the abundance of God's blessing. How is this possible?
