God Is My Helperનમૂનો

Day Three:

Psalm 121:1-2
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."

On the evening of September 13th, at 7 pm, I received a call saying that my eldest brother had been in a serious accident and had sustained a severe head injury. He was in critical condition in the ICU. The news shook me to my core. Our entire family was devastated, crying uncontrollably. We were four hours away from him and immediately set off for Islamabad. That journey was one of the hardest we had ever endured—filled with fear, uncertainty, and pain.

But in that difficult moment, my father said, "My God, whom I worship, will never disappoint me." His words gave us strength. We all prayed, crying out to God, and when we arrived at the hospital and saw my brother covered in blood, we were shaken to our very souls. Yet, it was in that moment of despair that I felt God's presence, helping us.

Psalm 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

The doctors kept giving us discouraging updates. They said, "He has only a few hours; let’s see how long he lasts." Their words were breaking our hearts, but our God, the true Helper, was with us. My brother underwent two major surgeries, and for two months, he remained in a coma. But, dear friends, God never left us alone. Every day, every moment, God was with us, holding us up. Each day brought more improvement for my brother.

Today, my brother is alive and well, the same brother the doctors said wouldn’t survive. But God extended His mighty hand and gave him new life. Today, my brother is serving the Lord, and we are all so thankful that God not only supported us during that trial but also saved my brother.

Friends! Truly, my help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
